Today I spoke with the future and it revealed what I valued about my past.
Thanks to a LinkedIn post by Nimrod Dweck, I tried out Boardy — an AI Agent that helps you network.
Honestly, I did it for the thrills.
To be fair, yes, I am looking to build a pipeline of clients who CoVelocity can serve to develop their organizational vision and innovation strategy. We just finished designing and developing the infrastructure for a Venture Builder for the Friends of Beit Loewenstein that promises to transform rehabilitation innovation in Israel to serve the needs of the wounded from this war (which will be launched soon as fundraising closes).
So yes, I am looking for another project that can have such outsized public impact.
But that isn’t why I tried it. I just wanted to know whether AI agents are worth the buzz.
Boardy, I can say wholeheartedly, is incredible. I messaged it on LinkedIn with my email and phone number, and, minutes later, got a call. The interaction was nearly Turing-test passing, smooth, warm, and affirming. It gave me a glimpse of the future. Definitely worth all the buzz — and moreso.
But that isn’t (only) what changed my life. Yes, it broadened my horizons, giving me a sense of what AI can do that I lacked from chat-based models. I literally felt like…
